Education Center of the American Phytopathological Society |
Education Center of the American Phytopathological Society, APS, St. Paul, MN, USA. The APS is always improving their internet services (APSnet) and one big approach is the education center. They called it also "The Plant Health Instructor" and that is what it really is. You will hardly find any other website on teaching plant pathology which is so very well organized than this one.
It is divided into nine main parts: (1) K-12 Plant Path-Ways to Science, (2) Introductory Plant Pathology, (3) dvanced Plant Pathology, (4) Online Courses, (5) Short Courses, (6) Instructor Communication and Scholarship, (7) University Plant Pathology Home Pages, (8) Certification Program, and (9) The Plant Health Instructor. And you will also find specific information for students or instructors. Each part provides such a mass of highly useful and interesting information that it would be hard to summarize it here.
As a plant pathologists I would like to see mor of such exellent sites and as someone who prepares his own website I would like that my own project would only as half as good as the APS education center.
Visit this very extraordinary website I am sure it will be one of your internet starting points for plant pathology in the future. But please do not forget PPIGB and come here back again from time to time.
